Open once online to prepare offline access. Your saved trail and exports work offline; new map tiles need internet. Keep the app open and screen on while recording. Browser and home-screen storage may differ, so export an existing trail before switching.

Keep the page open.

Allow location access when you start. Use HTTPS or localhost. Keep the screen on: browsers can pause tracking in the background. Fixes over 30 m accuracy and movements under 3 m are skipped. Steps assume a 0.75 m stride.

Your trail stays here.

Points are saved in this browser’s IndexedDB, with no account or upload. Clearing browser data removes them, so export a copy. Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, which receives requests for the viewed area.

An open way out.

OHS Foundation builds on FHIR. The R4 export wraps your GeoJSON in a FHIR Binary resource inside a collection Bundle. It preserves the track; a receiving app needs support for this attachment format.
